The Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre will host an investment promotion conference in early October 2024, themed “Ben Tre - Vision Towards the East and Sustainable Development Potential”, the Government News has reported.
The event aims to showcase the province’s potential, strengths, and socio-economic development plans as outlined in Ben Tre's master planning for 2021-2030, with a vision extending to 2050.
The conference will highlight the provincial authorities’ determination and commitment to both domestic and foreign businesses and investors, aiming to attract investment and lay the foundation for the province’s sustainable development.
Mr. Duong Van Phuc, Director of the Ben Tre Department of Planning and Investment, announced that a series of events will be organized, including the groundbreaking of Ba Lai 8 Bridge, the launch of the coastal road project connecting Ben Tre with neighboring provinces of Tien Giang and Tra Vinh, and a seminar on new and renewable energy.
Scheduled for October 2-3, the conference will serve as a forum for dialogue between the Government and investors, as well as among investors themselves.
In the first nine months of 2024, the province granted new investment registration certificates for five projects, including one FDI project with registered capital of $2.65 million and four domestic projects with registered capital of VND82.75 billion ($3.3 million).
