Up to 170 businesses and business establishments in the central and south-central regions are showcasing seafood and “One commune, One product” (OCOP) products rated from 3 to 5 stars at the Seafood and OCOP Product Fair 2023, which opened on August 28 in Quy Nhon, the capital of south-central Binh Dinh province, and will close on September 3, the Voice of Vietnam has reported.
The trade fair aims to promote Vietnam’s agricultural products in general and OCOP and seafood products of high quality in particular.
Director of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Vietnam Agricultural Extension, Le Quoc Thanh, said the fair is expected to offer farmers, fishermen, and businesses a host of opportunities for cooperation.
“Activities at the trade fair will help shape new directions for the sustainable development of agricultural and fishery production, with strong competitiveness in international economic integration,” he said, adding that it will also attract foreign investors and businesses.
