A new growth cycle beckons for Vietnam’s hospitality market, driven by investment shifts, lifestyle trends, and a renewed focus on talent.

As of July 2025, the market recorded over 185,000 rooms across 1,500 lodging facilities, with the upscale to luxury segment accounting for 57 per cent of the total supply.

Once completed, the project is envisioned as a tourism and service hub within the Vinh – Cua Lo – Kim Lien tourism triangle.

The city's total tourism revenue reaching VND233.56 trillion ($8.88 billion).

The route has been suspended since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Vietnamese PM urged promotion of a direct Kuwait-Vietnam air route to enhance economic connectivity, business linkages, cultural exchange, tourism development, and people-to-people ties.
