With a total investment of over $242 million, Dong Anh Industrial Park is one of the capital’s largest industrial zones.

It is the first high-tech waste-to-energy project in Southwest Hanoi.

Priority sectors for pilot testing include agriculture, logistics, transportation, healthcare, tourism, urban management, surveillance, emergency response, and national security and defense.

The project is envisioned as a major green corridor and long-term development driver for the Vietnamese capital.

The target is part of the city's implementation plan for its 2020–2030 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research and Development Program.

Authorities have set a deadline of June 30, 2026, to finalize clearance for Ring Road 2.5, while simultaneously pushing progress on Ring Roads 3 and 3.5.
