The Resolution is set to take effect on August 24, 2026, and will be applicable for the 2026 and 2027 tax years.

With the amended Law on Vietnamese Workers Working Abroad Under Contract passed on August 24, the Vietnamese legislature establishes a transparent legal framework designed to eliminate illegal fees, combat fraud, and safeguard the legitimate rights of Vietnamese contract workers abroad.

During a reception in Hanoi on August 24 for visiting President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire Patrick Achi, Party General Secretary and President To Lam suggested that the two countries continue to strengthen cooperation for mutual benefits and contribute to peace, stability, and development in both regions.

The program is built on the integration of four national target programs which had been previously approved by the National Assembly.

A recent Vietnam Economic Times / VnEconomy forum was among the best opportunities for stakeholders to comment and contribute opinions on substantive revisions to the Law on Petroleum and later, the amended law was passed by the National Assembly on August 23.

The southern city expects to welcome 11.5 million visitors by 2030.
