The Son Hai Ltd. Co has proposed building the Nha Trang - Lien Khuong Expressway linking south-central Khanh Hoa province with the central highlands’ Lam Dong province.

The 103-km expressway will have total investment capital of around VND36.2 trillion ($1.5 billion).

Some 48 km will run through Khanh Hoa province and the remainder through Lam Dong province.

It will have four lanes and a speed limit of 100 kph.

The project will be invested in under the public-private partnership (PPP) form.

It is scheduled to be built in the 2025-2028 period.

The expressway is expected to help boost economic development in the two provinces, promote the trade of high-tech agricultural products, and develop tourism between the central region and the central highlands.
