Five more FDI projects approved in northern Vinh Phuc province

Vinh Phuc province has approved five more (FDI) projects worth nearly $140 million.

The approved projects include UTI VINA Plant from South Korea, specializing in the production of glass protective screens for mobile phones and tablets, with an investment of $35 million; Prime -Tien Phong, a Thai investor, with a project to build a tile factory with an investment of $32.5 million; DST VINA 2 Plant, a Thai investor specializing in producing components for mobile phones, iPads, and laptops, with an investment of $27.5 million; DKT Vina from South Korea, with a project to build an electronic components manufacturing plant, with an investment of $24.9 million; and M&K Vietnam Precision Plant from the UK, focused on manufacturing bicycles and wheelchairs for the disabled, with an investment of $18 million.

In addition to these FDI projects, Vinh Phuc has also approved a domestic investment project worth VND830 billion (nearly $32.7 million) and signed MOUs with several companies for future investments in industrial zones and education.

Statistics show that as of November 2024, Vinh Phuc has attracted 1,326 projects, including 481 FDI projects with a total investment of over $8.4 billion,  and 845 domestic direct investment (DDI) projects with a total capital exceeding VND145 trillion ($5.7 billion).
