A recent cooperative agreement between Fundiin and Pharmacity will allow customers to purchase medications at Pharmacity stores to improve their health and then pay later.
Starting from November, the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) method will be officially launched at Pharmacity stores. Working with Fundiin, when making purchases at Pharmacity, customers can choose to pay later after 30 days or in three installments within 60 days, completely free of charge and interest. In the context of the ongoing growth in healthcare demand, the BNPL method is expected to boost healthcare spending while maximizing consumer needs in health.
According to Fundiin CEO Nguyen Anh Cuong, the introduction of BNPL for Vietnamese consumers is essential, providing a more flexible, gentle, and humane payment method than ever before. The cooperation with Pharmacity to implement the BNPL method reflects Fundiin’s continuous efforts to understand the psychology and pain points of Vietnamese consumers.
“We expect the pay later method to support families and patients, ensuring they don’t hesitate to seek medical care due to short-term financial issues, missing the golden moment for treatment,” Mr. Cuong said.
This cooperation marks a new milestone in Pharmacity’s development strategy, enhancing its competitive advantage as the leading pharmacy chain, and is expected to bring outstanding benefits to users in healthcare spending and family protection.
