Visiting State Secretary of Sweden’s Ministry of Climate and Enterprise, Ms. Sara Modig, spoke with Vietnam Economic Times / VnEconomy’s Anh Hoang about the significant potential for deeper Vietnam - Sweden cooperation in advancing sustainable development.

By 2050, 100 per cent of key crop areas will adopt sustainable cultivation practices, utilizing low-emission farming techniques and enhancing climate change adaptability.

With its substantial forest coverage, Vietnam has the potential to generate major income from selling carbon credits.

Vietnam is gradually realizing its commitment to achieving Net Zero through transforming the green growth model, encouraging the use of renewable energy and developing low-emission agriculture.
