North-central Ha Tinh province is estimated to have earned record export revenue of $2.4 billion this year, a year-on-year increase of 56 per cent, according to local authorities.
At a meeting held to review the province’s socio-economic situation this year, held on November 30, local authorities said it had fulfilled 26 set targets this year.
The province is expected to post annual growth of 8.05 per cent.
Of which, the agricultural sector is estimated to grow 2.8 per cent compared to last year and the service sector 6.7 per cent.
Its Index of Industrial Production (IIP) is predicted to rise 8 per cent year-on-year.
Ha Tinh is among localities to have the highest disbursement of public investment capital to date, estimated at over VND7.44 trillion ($310 million) this year, equivalent to 85 per cent of the annual target. The figure is higher than the national average of 52.1 per cent in the first ten months of the year and higher than last year’s 53.2 per cent.
