The Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment will inspect the implementation of environmental protection regulations at 392 units, businesses, urban areas, and residential buildings this year.

They include major urban areas such as the Tan Tay Do urban area in Dan Phuong district, the Hibran Van Phu housing project in Ha Dong district, and Park City Hanoi in Ha Dong.

The inspections are aimed at raising awareness among people, units, and businesses about following environmental protection regulations and preventing violations.

During the inspections, State management agencies and inspectors will refer violations to authorized forces to handle.

Organizations and individuals found to have broken environmental protection laws or caused environmental pollution and environmental incidents will also be forced to resolve such problems, improve and restore the environment, and pay compensation for any damage caused by their infringements.
