The Startup and Innovation Hub of Ho Chi Minh City (SIHUB) was inaugurated on August 23, marking a major step toward developing the southern metropolis into one of the world’s top 100 dynamic innovation and startup ecosystems.
Spanning nearly 17,000 square meters, the SIHUB building operates under a public–private partnership model.
It is designed as a one-stop hub for startups, offering support in legal affairs, intellectual property, finance, fundraising, technology development, and access to both domestic and international markets.
The sixth floor of the building will temporarily house the city’s International Financial Center while the center's main facility is under construction.
Ho Chi Minh City’s startup ecosystem is currently valued at about $5.22 billion, ranking third in Southeast Asia after Singapore and Indonesia, and is home to more than 2,000 startups.
