The HORECFEX Vietnam 2026 International Conference opened in central Da Nang city on August 20, bringing together stakeholders to explore how technology and innovation can support the development of the hotel, restaurant and resort tourism sectors.
Speaking at the conference, Da Nang Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee Ho Quang Buu said that, following two previous editions in the city, HORECFEX had established itself as a reputable international forum for new ideas, advanced technology solutions and emerging trends in the hotel, restaurant, spa and resort tourism industries.
He expressed confidence that HORECFEX Vietnam 2026 would generate valuable connections, promote innovation in management models and strengthen the competitiveness of Vietnam’s tourism and service sectors.
He said the industry was at a favorable point to accelerate its transition from traditional operations to smart management, with technology becoming not merely a support tool but a core component of businesses’ competitive capacity and new growth models.
The two-day conference served as a bridge connecting government agencies, hospitality businesses, technology companies and startups, investors, and domestic and international organizations.
Mr. Buu said he hoped discussions and networking activities would lead to new partnerships, practical technology applications, technology transfers and investment opportunities, helping businesses expand their markets and drive innovation.
