The city has issued a plan to implement the socio-economic growth strategy for 2026-2030 with science and technology, innovation and digital transformation being identified as key drivers of the city’s new growth model.

The two countries' decision to elevate their relations to a Strategic Partnership comes as a result of more than five decades of friendship and cooperation, reflecting their commitment to jointly investing in the future, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam said.

Vietnam regards Canada as a friend and a trusted partner with which it shares many common interests and strategic perspectives, said top leader To Lam.

The strategic partnership has been established during a state visit to Canada by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam.

Key areas including satellite connectivity, energy, logistics, digital transformation and pharmaceuticals.

Credit has continued to be directed primarily towards production and business activities.
