At the meeting that took place in Hanoi on April 16, representatives of USABC, the US Embassy in Vietnam and participating businesses commended Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements and improving investment climate, as well as its strategic development orientation toward rapid and sustainable growth driven by science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Ho Chi Minh City is currently ranked among the top 5 startup ecosystems in Southeast Asia and the top 110 globally, with an estimated valuation of $7–7.5 billion.

The central province is expected to develop a total of 47 industrial parks in the 2021-2030 period, covering more than 27,300 hectares.

The expressways, with total length of around 574km, are proposed for investment before 2030.
