The Mikazuki Group and authorities in Da Nang city opened a pedestrian bridge on July 1 to mark the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.

The bridge links the Da Nang Mikazuki entertainment complex and the beach across Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, helping local people and tourists reach the beach more safely.

The project had total investment of VND42 billion (nearly $1.8 million).

At nearly 13 meters tall and over 140 meters long, the bridge has a floor area of nearly 655 sq m.

Its shape is inspired by ocean waves, creating a sense of lightness, tranquility, and integration with the surrounding landscapes. On the outside, two observation decks are complemented by spiral steel staircases and elevators, providing easy access for people with disabilities.
