Since June,  selected tourism sites and services in such coastal provinces as Quang Ninh, Quang Nam, Danang and Thanh Hoa have been allowed to operate as long as Covid-19 protection measures were effectively followed. Travel companies also applied different approaches to attract tourists such as introducing new on-site tourism packages, focusing on small groups of tourists or families, and introducing interactive virtual tours.
