CT Group has officially unveiled the design of an ADC chip, commercially named CTDA200M, featuring a 12-bit resolution and a sampling rate of up to 200 MSPS.

Mr. Tran Kim Chung, Chairman of CT Group, affirmed that the launch of this chip design marks a milestone for Vietnam's core technology. He noted that while an ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) chip is complex and typically takes two years to design, the company's team completed it in a record time of six months.

The CTDA200M chip will be manufactured by Taiwan's TSMC starting in July 2025. It will then be packaged and finalized at the ATP semiconductor plant of CT Semiconductor in November 2025 and commercialized in December 2025.

According to a CT Group representative, the corporation is currently developing a complete, end-to-end semiconductor ecosystem that includes design centers, Assembly, Test, and Packaging (ATP) plants in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, along with an international cooperation network in the field of photolithography.

CT Group has also set a goal to achieve autonomy in photolithography technology by 2030, through a plan of combined investment from the State and private enterprises. This is aimed at developing chip lines for security, defense, and other strategic technology products. The existing factories and research centers are now ready for the commercialization of "Made in Vietnam" chip products.
