The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced a list of 281 reputable exporters in 2021.

The list was prepared following recommendations from 54 agencies and organizations, including relevant ministries, sectors, associations for different commodities, and departments of industry and trade in localities around Vietnam.

Businesses selected based on export revenue, prestige with foreign partners, and implementation of commitments and obligations in customs, taxes, and the environment.

They include 13 businesses in the field of coffee exports, including Nestlé Vietnam, the Minh Tien Joint Stock Company, and Dakman Vietnam; 26 rubber enterprises, including the Thuan Loi, Da Nang and Hiep Thanh rubber companies; nine tea businesses, including A Chau Tea and Phu Tho SSOE Tea; 46 seafood businesses, including Minh Phu, Vinh Hoan, and Soc Trang; 25 rice businesses, including VINAFOOD1, Star Rice, and Loc Troi; 12 cashew nut businesses; 13 pepper businesses; 16 fruit and vegetable businesses; and 32 garment and textile businesses.

Compilation of the list is considered a necessary activity to help Vietnamese businesses promote their exports and expand markets, particularly with Vietnam participating in a number of bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements.
