MTA Hanoi 2022: Towards a new direction in smart manufacturing

The annual MTA Hanoi 2022 trade event for the manufacturing industry in northern Vietnam in precision mechanics, machine tools, and metalworking will bring together businesses and experts from October 12 to 14 to showcase and discuss smart manufacturing technologies.

To avoid falling behind trends in integration and to become part of global supply chains, Vietnamese enterprises should consider implementing smart manufacturing in their production process to enhance competitiveness.

The utilization of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) as the primary platforms to control the entire production process, thus connecting machines, equipment, production stages, and other departments with digital technology, creates key concepts and functions in smart manufacturing. However, the ability to comprehend and directly apply smart manufacturing to the production process is not simple.

Hence, restructuring a traditional production process or designing and building a smart manufacturing model has created a completely new challenge in terms of knowledge and finance.

Although the topic of smart manufacturing has been discussed extensively, enthusiasm for learning and obtaining such knowledge has never subsided. This year’s MTA Hanoi 2022 - The 8th International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition and Conference, will continue to explore the topic of smart manufacturing through seminars between October 12 and 14, 2022.
