The Australia Vietnam Young Executives Network (AVYX) has been officially launched at the Study Melbourne Hub in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting the attention of communities and leaders, including government representatives and young leaders from both Australia and Vietnam.
The AVYX Network is an initiative of the Australia-Vietnam Leadership Dialogue (AVLD) and falls within the framework of the DigiFrontier project for entrepreneurs and those interested in economic development, and middle-level managers from Australia and Vietnam who wish to expand the scope of development in both Vietnam and Australia.
The AVYX’s vision is to help promote sustainable development between Vietnam and Australia.
Maintaining vibrant activities of the young leadership community for cross-border cooperation, human development, business, and startup culture exchange are all extremely necessary.
The network is expected to play an important role in shaping the future of young leaders and promoting a culture of innovation.
AVYX’s four important goals include promoting the development of a business culture; encouraging the development of the startup community; building a relationship and trade platform; and connecting with universities and promoting human development.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Dang, Chairwoman of AVYX, emphasized the importance of organizational building and AVYX’s commitment to supporting young leaders in the business landscape of both countries.
“I hope that AVYX will become an important bridge where young leaders can develop both business and people,” she added. “We can build sustainable development for businesses and contribute to the common development of both countries, creating a strong and potential community.”
Regarding organizational structure, AVYX will operate with a comprehensive volunteer organization, including Steering Committee (SC) Representatives, with each being responsible for one of four main target areas while representing both countries. Each member of the SC will contribute to the process of making important strategies and decisions of AVYX.
The clear division of responsibilities between SCs will help AVYX focus strongly on key areas, including Human Resources Development, Corporate Cultural Exchange, Startups, and Investments, as well as partners and networks. Each SC will develop and implement specific activities and strategies to achieve the organization’s broad goals.
“We believe that this clear assignment will create a basis for flexibility and motivation within the organization, while encouraging creativity and positivity on the part of members,” said Ms. Dang. “Each SC will work closely to ensure that we not only achieve our short-term goals but also promote the long-term growth and success of AVYX in both the Australian and Vietnamese markets.”
