Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has signed Decision No 1400/QD-TTg to establish the Management Board of Ninh Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Parks, the Government News reported.

Accordingly, the Management Board of Ninh Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Parks will be established by merging the Management Board of Ninh Binh Industrial Parks, the Management Board of Nam Dinh Economic Zone and Industrial Parks, and the Management Board of Ha Nam Industrial Parks,  as from July 1, 2025, when the three provinces will be merged into a new province, namely Ninh Binh. 

The Management Board of Ninh Binh Economic Zone and Industrial Parks is an agency under the People's Committee of new Ninh Binh province. It performs the function of direct State management over the economic zone and industrial parks in the new province. It also manages and organizes the provision of public administrative services and other support services related to the investment, production, and business activities of enterprises within the economic zone and industrial parks, as prescribed by law.

The Management Board shall carry out its duties and powers in accordance with current laws.

This Decision takes effect from June 28 and repeals previous decisions on the establishment of the Management Board of Ha Nam Industrial Parks and the Management Board of Nam Dinh Economic Zone and Industrial Parks.
