Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has directed the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) to propose measures and regulations to attract talent to the public sector.

Speaking at a year-end meeting held by MoHA on December 29, the Prime Minister asked the sector to improve the domestic business environment, raise national competitiveness, and enhance digital transformation towards a digital government, a digital economy, and a digital society.

Reforming administrative procedures is among the key tasks for 2023, with people and businesses at the center, he said.

He instructed the sector to continue contributing to building a streamlined, efficient, and effective administrative apparatus in tandem with personnel restructuring and training.

The sector also needs to build and perfect relevant institutions and policies and improve the quality of its work.
