Prime Minister Le Minh Hung alongside other government leaders and representatives from various ministries and agencies will meet with young citizens to hear their aspirations, during the Prime Minister Dialogue with Youth 2026 scheduled for October 15.

The event is expected to gather approximately 300 delegates representing diverse youth segments including civil servants, armed forces personnel, young entrepreneurs, industrial workers, students, rural and urban youth, ethnic minorities, religious followers, and youth with disabilities.

The upcoming dialogue forms part of a implementation plan recently issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the Prime Minister Dialogue with Youth 2026. The initiative aims to create a national platform for young people to express their perspectives, proposals, and policy recommendations tied closely to science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation.

Under the theme "Fostering the Role of Vietnamese Youth in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Driving Economic Growth, and Job Creation," the program will focus on evaluating the implementation of youth policies, particularly those governing employment, startups, human resource development, and vocational training.

Participants will identify existing bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions to perfect the legal framework in the coming period.

Discussions will address mechanisms to enhance education quality and vocational skills, prioritizing digital capabilities, technology fluency, foreign languages, and adaptability to evolving labor market demands. Attention will also center on helping young workers improve professional capacity and labor productivity to meet the requirements of emerging economic sectors and the broader digital economy.

Furthermore, government representatives and youth leaders will examine policies facilitating market access, credit availability, land use, and technology transfer for young entrepreneurs.

The dialogue will explore strategies to support startup incubators, encourage digital transformation and artificial intelligence adoption in business models, and create favorable regulatory conditions for youth-led enterprises, cooperatives, and novel economic structures to join domestic and global supply chains.

Government officials are scheduled to receive, discuss, and resolve youth recommendations during the event, addressing queries within their authority while outlining clear roadmaps for complex policy issues that require multi-agency coordination and continuous monitoring.
