Authorities in central Quang Nam province are calling for investment of an estimated VND45 billion ($1.9 million) for the construction of the Rung Cam industrial complex, according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

The complex covers 13.8 ha in Tien Hiep commune, Tien Phuoc district.

Construction is scheduled to begin this year and be completed in 2025.

Local authorities said the industrial complex, which will have complete infrastructure, will meet the production and working needs of businesses and contribute to generating jobs, raising worker incomes, and boosting local economic development.

Quang Nam recently called for investment in the Hoa Binh Industrial Park in Phu Ninh district, with capital of VND298 billion ($12.5 million) sought.
