Authorities in northern Quang Ninh province have adopted a resolution on measures to help enterprises, cooperatives, and household businesses improve production and trade efficiency.

Focus will be placed on improving the business and investment environment and promoting provincial competitiveness to create a transparent, open, and equal business and investment environment and ensure fair access to resources for enterprises and investors.

The resolution sets a target of addressing 100 per cent of obstacles and recommendations from businesses, enterprises, and household businesses in a timely manner.

Measures will also be taken to reduce time, cost, and difficulties relating to production and trade.

The Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee also asked relevant agencies to take comprehensive measures to meet the credit needs of businesses. Priority will be given to businesses investing in the green economy and carbon emissions reductions.

There are 10,700 businesses, 408 cooperatives, and 19,400 household businesses operating in Quang Ninh at present.
