Central Quang Tri province has posted total trade value of $98.91 million year-to-date, up 30.15 per cent compared to the same period last year, according to the Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee.

Exports totaled $30.14 million, the Committee reported at a recent working session with a government delegation on the province’s production and trade situation.

It attracted six projects in the first two months of the year, with total registered investment capital of more than VND1.78 trillion ($72.6 million).

Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ha Sy Dong proposed at the working session that the government help the province deal with difficulties and obstacles in implementing a number of key projects, to create the necessary conditions for it to further boost socio-economic development.
