Construction of some key projects in Thanh Hoa city - capital of the central province of the same name, has been kicked off, with a combined investment capital of over VND2 trillion ($78.7 million)

These projects are implemented under Resolution No. 303 from the provincial People’s Council on some special mechanisms and policies for developing Thanh Hoa city.

They include Children’s Cultural Palace, Sport Center, Hoi An Park (to be upgraded), and  Le Loi Boulevard (to be expanded), and construction of an overpass spanning the North-South railway.

The Le Loi Boulevard will be expanded from Phu Son intersection to Dong Bridge with an estimated investment capital of over VND1 trillion ($39.3 million). It will help complete the traffic network and enhance connection between transport routes in the province, contributing to boosting the province’s socio-economic development. Construction is expected for completion in September, 2025.

Meanwhile, construction of the 800-m overpass spanning the North-South railway and two roads approaching the two ends of the bridge is estimated to cost over VND647 billion ($25.4 million).
