The US was Vietnam’s largest agriculture, forestry, and fishery export market in the first eight months of 2021, with turnover of nearly $11 billion; far outpacing the second-largest market, China, with $6.1 billion.

Total import and export turnover in the agriculture, forestry, and fishery sector in the first eight months of this year stood at over $60.9 billion. Exports reached $32.1 billion, up 21.6 per cent year-on-year, and imports $28.8 billion, up 44.1 per cent.
