AmCham proposes increase in foreign ownership

At the annual Vietnam Business Forum 2022 on February 21, President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Mr. John Rockhold made a number of recommendations to the government, such as increasing the foreign “space” in Vietnamese enterprises, especially banks, continuing to reduce and postpone corporate income taxes in 2022 and 2023, reforming the capital market, and continuing to reduce the number of conditional business sectors.
