From March 1, the Ministry of Public Security is officially responsible for aviation security nationwide, instead of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.

Thua Thien-Hue to become a centrally-run municipality
Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh approved urban master planning tasks for 2045 and vision to 2065 on October 19. Central Thua Thien-Hue province is to become a centrally-run municipality by 2025, becoming one of Vietnam’s major centers for science and technology, high-quality education, and training by 2030, and a festival city and center of culture, education, tourism, and special health of Asia by 2045.
Can Tho will have an airport city
According to the development plan of the Mekong Delta, Can Tho will be the center of the region and will expand the current airport into an international airport with a scale of 10,000 hectares, serving the goal of agricultural economic development and tourism of the region.
