According to the Vietnam Association of Construction Contractors (VACC), all construction enterprises, from small to large, have debt backlogs. Many have debts of more than VND1 trillion ($42 million) and are facing bankruptcy.

At a meeting with Vietnamese media on July 18, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmur Mammadov said that with a favorable geographical location and the strong development of infrastructure and seaports, Azerbaijan can become a transit point to further develop Vietnamese exports to Europe. Moreover, the country’s reconstruction needs are opening up opportunities for Vietnamese businesses in the construction and energy sectors.
