Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc has signed Decision No. 1484/QD-BTC promulgating the Ministry of Finance (MoF)’s digital transformation plan to 2025 and orientation to 2030. The goal is to establish a modern, public, and transparent digital financial platform by 2025 based on big data and open financial data. By 2030, a rich and modern digital financial ecosystem is to be formed in all fields, ensuring the effectiveness and safety of information.

The Ministry of Information and Communications is piloting the deployment of a “community digital technology team” in localities to promote digital transformation and bring people to the digital environment so they can pioneer the use of digital platforms and digital technology, thereby becoming drivers to promote the government’s stronger digital transformation.

The community connection platform “Giup toi!” (Help me!) has been officially launched to connect doctors with people needing remote healthcare consultations while social distancing measures are in place during Covid-19. The project has received support from the National Innovation Center (NIC), which initiated the establishment of the Vietnam Innovation Network.
