EU funding forest protection project in Lam Dong and Dak Nong

A project on forest protection and livelihood creation in the central highlands’ Lam Dong and Dak Nong provinces will be implemented from 2022 to 2026, with the goal of, by 2026, 25,000 hectares of natural forest being protected, reducing emissions equivalent to 3 million tons of CO2 and improving the livelihoods of 35 per cent of the population of the two provinces. The total budget of the project is €5 million ($5.36 million), funded by the EU.
