Compilation board established to guide implementation of Law on Real Estate Business
Law is scheduled to take effect from January 1, 2025.
Decree on Law on Real Estate Business issued
Under a government Decree detailing the implementation of a number of articles in the Law on Real Estate Business, which took effect on March 1, the legal capital requirement of VND20 billion ($875,000) will be removed. The Decree also stipulates the conditions for the transfer of contracts for sale and purchase, lease-purchase of houses to be built in the future, and the transfer of lease-purchase contracts for existing houses and construction works.
