Trade in remote areas gets boost
At the recent “Propaganda and promotion to support the development of trade in mountainous areas and islands in 2022” conference, Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Director of the Domestic Market Department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said the production potential of mountainous and remote areas and islands is significant because of their area and geographical location, with many products bestowed upon them by nature.
Educational cooperation between Vietnam and US gets boost
Ten cooperative agreements were signed at the Vietnam - US Education Cooperation Forum in the US on September 21 between representatives of educational management agencies and educational institutions and corporations in the two countries. Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son said that to make a dramatic change in human resources development, Vietnam has decided to strengthen international education integration and promote investment in the country.
Solutions sought to develop science and technology businesses
The Vietnam Association of Science and Technology Enterprises (VST) requires solutions to develop science and technology enterprises and build a database on such enterprises, to be able to understand their situation and so provide support and promote effective development, according to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung.
