Old regulations on localization rates of motor vehicles to be abolished
After being in place for nearly 20 years, regulations on localization rates and the degree of fragmentation of imported auto parts, issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), are now no longer suitable with the development of automobile manufacturing technology and will be abolished from October 1.
