Government working to address shortages of drugs and medical supplies

At a June 23 meeting between the Government Standing Committee and ministries and branches on solutions to ensure the supply of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies and guarantee human resources for the healthcare sector, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that ministries, agencies, and localities closely coordinate and adopt appropriate solutions to overcome ongoing shortages of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment in many localities.
