Trade in second-hand goods to reach $5.1bln by 2026

According to research by RedSheer Strategy Consultants, the trade of second-hand goods in Vietnam has growth opportunities, with the market of $1.1 billion in 2021 expected to rise to $5.1 billion by 2026. Meanwhile, the Carousell Recommerce Index 2021 showed that 83 per cent of Vietnamese people who have purchased second-hand goods will continue to do so. Moreover, sustainable consumption trends have become a leading concern among young Vietnamese.
