Vietnam Customs has urgently issued an official dispatch to local customs regarding the implementation of tax obligation confirmation under the new regulations in Circular No. 121/2025/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance.

Newly established SMEs are exempt from income tax for the first 3 years; businesses transitioning from household businesses to corporate models are exempt for the first 2 years.

For foreign-invested enterprises to be eligible for corporate income tax incentives, they must meet similar criteria applicable to domestic enterprises.
