Tag: Vietnam trade balance

Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Malaysia experienced remarkable growth during the first eight months of 2026, reaching $15.28 billion - a 43.4 percent increase compared to the same period last year and approaching the 2025 total of $16.33 billion.

The difference in growth rates indicates that import demand is recovering faster than exports, continuing to put pressure on the trade balance in the short term.
