Thanh Hoa province targets 11% in 2025 GRDP growth

The province recording GRDP growth of 12.16% in 2024, ranking second among the 63 centrally-run cities and provinces nationwide.

North-central Thanh Hoa provincial authorities have set a Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth target of 11% for 2025, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

Of which, the agro-forestry and fishery sector is expected to grow 3%, industry-construction sector 15% and services 8%.

The GRDP per capita is projected to reach $3,750, much lower than the national level recorded in 2024 (estimated at more than $4,460). 

The province will also strive to gain total export revenue of $8 billion upwards.

Thanh Hoa expects to mobilize development investment capital worth from VND140 trillion ($5.47 billion).

In 2024, the province’s GRDP is estimated to increase 12.16%, ranking second among the total 63 centrally-run cities and provinces of Vietnam. 

Its Index of Industrial Production rose 19.25% year-on-year.
