The top 10 outstanding digital technology firms in Vietnam 2023 will be officially announced at an awards ceremony later this year, according to the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA).

They operate in 25 different fields and will be divided in six groups, including traditional fields of the IT industry (digital transformation platforms, exportation of IT software and services, digital transformation services and solutions, IT services and solutions, and production and distribution of ICT equipment) and priority areas for digital transformation (digital government, smart city, e-commerce, fintech, edtech, proptech, healthtech, and agritech).

The event is aimed at honoring businesses in the field of information and communications technology (ICT) as well as promoting Vietnamese ICT companies and connecting them with partners and customers inside and outside of the country.

IT revenue in 2022 reached $148 billion, of which the software and IT services industry was about $13 billion.

The current IT workforce is over 300,000 employees.

Vietnam has more than ten enterprises with more than 1,000 employees and a large number with 200-900 employees.
