During a meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on June 25 in China, Polish President Andrzej Duda affirmed that Vietnam is the biggest partner of Poland in Southeast Asia , the Government News has reported.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 15th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian city, China’s Liaoning province.

The Polish leader said he hopes Vietnam will create favorable conditions for Polish businesses to export goods to Vietnam and strengthen cooperation in new areas such as renewable energy and tourism.

PM Chinh proposed the two countries to boost economic, trade, investment and cultural cooperation.

He pledged that Vietnam will provide optimal conditions for the import of goods of Poland’s strengths such as machineries and ships.

The two sides should accelerate the signing of a loan agreement for the project of building six new offshore search and rescue ships for which the Polish Government has committed to granting preferential credit to Vietnam, PM Chinh said.
