The Vietnam Private Economic Landscape (ViPEL) model was officially launched in Hanoi on September 11, with the aim of fostering stronger collaboration and shared responsibility between private enterprises and state agencies.

The launch ceremony was organized by the Board for Private Economic Development Research (Board IV), under the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Corporation and head of Board IV, said the model embodies the vision of “public and private sectors joining hands in nation building.” He emphasized that ViPEL is expected to help transform the private sector into Vietnam’s most powerful engine of development.

Designed to bring together the largest number of private enterprises nationwide, ViPEL will serve as a platform for developing and implementing solutions to drive growth across industries.

Key priorities include implementing the Politburo’s Resolution 68-NQ/TW on private sector development, fostering a new growth model based on science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability, and reforms in the policy and legal environment.

The initiative will also honor businesses and entrepreneurs who make significant contributions to socio-economic growth, science and technology, and international cooperation.
