The industry will focus on maintaining its presence in key traditional markets, with a particular emphasis on the United States, and expanding into Japan, China, South Korea, the EU, India, Canada, Australia, the Middle East, and other emerging markets.

Diplomacy has also contributed to mobilizing external resources, expanding markets, attracting investment, and promoting sci-tech and innovation, thereby supporting productivity gains, economic restructuring and sustainable development, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung told the plenary session of the 33rd Diplomatic Conference in Hanoi on August 4.

According to a report to the meeting, the macro-economy remained broadly stable during the January–July period.

The overall decrease in July was mainly driven by lower prices in transportation, food and catering services, and housing-related items.

Asia continues to be the largest regional market for Vietnamese agro-forestry-fishery goods, accounting for 45.2% of total trade turnover, followed by the Americas (21.4%), Europe (13.8%), Africa (2.3%), and Oceania (1.4%).

In the seven-month period, the IIP for the manufacturing sector grew by 12.0% (compared to a 10.1% increase in the same period of 2025), contributing 9.3 percentage points to the overall growth.
