Vietnam’s export turnover to Hungary reached $392.2 million in the first seven months of the year, marking a significant increase of 61.1% year on year, according to the Vietnam Trade Office in Hungary.
The figure brings the total trade value between the two countries to $506.7 million in the seven month period, down 11.7% year on year.
The export of computers and electronic components gained the highest growth with $223.89 million, up 128% year-on-year, and accounting for 57% of the total export value from Vietnam to Hungary in the period.
It was followed by phones and accessories with export revenue of $27.2 million, a 21-fold rise compared to the same period last year.
