The first phase of the ASEAN Vietnam Ceramic Valley project was officially inaugurated on July 17 at Van Thang–Yen Tho Industrial Cluster in central Thanh Hoa Province, marking a major milestone in the development of the province's ceramic manufacturing industry.
The project is invested in by Etrillion Ceramics Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China's Hunan Hualian Ceramics Co., Ltd..
According to the investor, the project covers a total area of 43.8 hectares, including approximately 33 hectares of industrial land. The total registered investment capital for the entire project is estimated at $200 million.
The industrial complex is being developed in multiple phases. The investor has so far committed nearly $100 million to the first phase, with all factory buildings and technical infrastructure completed one year ahead of the schedule originally registered in the investment plan.
The completed infrastructure is fully equipped to support the installation of six modern smart production lines. Once operational, the first phase alone is expected to generate annual export revenue of more than $100 million.
Upon completion of all development phases, the ceramic manufacturing complex is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of approximately 170 million household ceramic products and generate more than $200 million in export revenue each year.
