The first phase of the My An - Cao Lanh Expressway passing through the Mekong Delta’s Dong Thap province will need estimated investment capital of over VND6.2 trillion ($258 million), according to the project’s feasibility study.
The My Thuan Project Management Board has submitted the feasibility study to the Ministry of Transport for approval.
The expressway is to have a total length of nearly 27km.
It will have four lanes in the first phase, allowing a maximum speed of 100 kph.
The project will use official development assistance (ODA) loans from South Korea totaling over VND4.46 trillion ($185 million), following the Prime Minister’s approval in December.
