280,600 vehicles sold during 6 months of reduced registration fees

According to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA), after six months of a 50 per cent reduction on registration fees for locally-assembled and manufactured vehicles being in place, more than 280,600 vehicles were sold from December to the end of May, of which domestically-assembled cars accounted for nearly half, or more than 130,000 units.
