Aeon Mall Vietnam Co. Ltd., under Japanese retailer Aeon, has acquired Aeon commercial center project in central Thanh Hoa province.

Under a decision from the  provincial People’s Committee, Mien Trung South City Two Member Company Limited, a local real estate business, has transfered the whole project to Aeon Mall Vietnam.

The project covers 10.5 ha in Thanh Hoa city. Total floor area is estimated at 235,000 sq m.

It has an estimated investment capital of VND4.157 trillion ($163.7 million).

In December 2023, Mien Trung South City Two Member Company Limited paid VND451 billion ($17.9 million) in a winning bid for the land lot for the project.
