The Mekong Delta An Giang province plans to complete 2,500 social houses by 2025, according to the provincial authorities.

Over 1,900 social houses are expected for completion this year with a total floor area of nearly 209,800 sq m, equivalent to 77% of the assigned target.

Under the provincial master plan on social housing development by 2030, An Giang plans to build 3,800 social houses.

The plan was freshly issued by the provincial People’s Committee as part  of the Government program to build at least 1 million houses for low-income earners and workers at industrial parks nationwide.

The province has implemented 4 social housing projects with 5,290 apartments.
